Parking will be free with a conference parking permit which will be available for you to download & print. Please park in P6 or P10 & display your parking permit.

If you come by train from London's airports (Gatwick, Stansted, Luton & Heathrow (Underground to Victoria then train to Brighton) you may book your tickets online in advance. Book your ticket to FALMER which is the railway station on the edge of the University of Sussex campus (there are frequent trains to FALMER - change at Brighton railway station)

You may also travel by bus / coach to Brighton from many parts of Britain including Central London (Victoria Coach Station) & London's airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted & Luton). You may book your tickets online in advance. Travel to the final coach stop in BRIGHTON (Pool Valley) then walk to nearby Old Steine & get a frequent local bus to the University of Sussex (25, 25A, 25B, 25C)

On Sunday CONFERENCE REGISTRATION will begin at 4.30pm with the Drinks Reception at 6pm and Dinner at 7.30pm - all these are in Bramber House (number 13 on the map)

>>> DAY DELEGATE or later arrival? CONFERENCE REGISTRATION will also be from 8.30 each morning on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday outside the Chichester Lecture Theatre (number 50 on the map).


The registration fee of £250 or £295 for ADULTS includes Sunday's Opening Reception, coffee breaks, lunches & evening meals on Sunday & Monday & a special Conference Dinner on the Tuesday evening plus 3 full days of plenary & workshop sessions. No evening meal will be provided on Wednesday.

The YOUTH registration fee of £200 or £245 The Youth Programme includes Sunday's Opening Reception, refreshments, lunches & evening meals on Sunday & Monday & the Conference Dinner on the Tuesday evening plus special Youth Programme (3 full days of plenary & workshop sessions + bowling on Monday evening. No evening meal will be provided on Wednesday.

DAY DELEGATES £85 or £95 per day includes full programme on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday which includes coffee breaks & lunches but not evening meals or the Conference Dinner. 5, 6 & 7 July - 3 full days of plenary & workshop sessions (no half days). FREE wifi will be available.


STAYING ON CAMPUS - all our rooms will be in "Swanborough" (number 14 on the map) & will be available from 2 on Saturday & Sunday. Reception is located on the ground floor of block 2 (the central block). If you are parking please note that P6 involves steps down to Swanborough, whilst P10 is located on a slope.

Later arrival? > your room keys may be collected from the 24-Hour Reception in York House (number 10 on the map).

The ensuite single bedrooms on the campus at Swanborough cost £50 per night which includes a full breakfast and FREE internet access. It does not entitle you to evening meals or the Conference Dinner unless you have paid the £250/£295 or £200/£245 full Conference registration fee.

FREE internet access in bedrooms is wired and delegates are asked to bring their own Cat 5/Ethernet cable.
FREE wifi is also available in workshop rooms & many other parts of the campus.

There are ATMs / bankomats, cafes, pubs & shops on the campus. You cannot use Euro - only British pounds.
